Senior Software Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Leader to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions.

About the Role

The Senior Software Engineering Leader will be accountable for providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support to a team of software engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery of software projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Software Engineering Teams: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and coaching to software engineering teams.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery of software projects.
  • Talent Development: Assist in the professional growth and mentorship of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and career development planning.
  • Strategic Contributions: Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic discussions and technology assessments.
  • Task Management: Manage project tasks and assignments, helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
