We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead our Research & Development Team.

About the Role
  • Improve data literacy across the organization by driving analytical excellence.
  • Handle structured and unstructured data using SQL and other programming languages.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, reporting results and insights that inform business decision-making.
  • Tell compelling data stories for stakeholders, leveraging data visualization techniques.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms that drive business outcomes.
  • Combine models through ensemble modeling to enhance predictive accuracy.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to address business challenges, leveraging data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data product managers to design and build data products that meet business needs.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information requirements.
  • Spread a data-driven mindset throughout the organization, improving data literacy and analytical capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Data Science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, and related areas.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or another major programming language.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical users.
  • Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design, predictive modeling, optimization, and causal inference.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning, regression classification, clustering, neural networks, feature selection, cross-validation, curse of dimensionality, bias-variance tradeoff, model explainability, NLP, etc.
