**Financial Operations Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and strategic management of financial operations in your region.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments. A strong background in STEM fields is also essential.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts and geographies
  • Preparing and updating liquidity forecasts to ensure adequate funding for operations
  • Supporting optimization of working capital and daily treasury operations
  • Developing and maintaining financial models for cash flow, funding, and scenario planning
  • Conducting variance analyses between forecasts and actual results, providing insights to management
  • Preparing dashboards and recurring reports to support decision-making
  • Supporting execution and reconciliation of cross-border payments
  • Liaising with partner banks and payment providers to ensure smooth processing
  • Assisting in evaluating and onboarding new financial partners
  • Maintaining treasury and financial data with accuracy and consistency
  • Automating recurring reporting tasks using Excel (pivot tables, macros) or other tools
  • Ensuring systems and spreadsheets are structured and auditable
  • Collaborating with compliance and legal teams to ensure treasury operations meet regulatory standards
  • Tracking changes in regulatory frameworks affecting treasury, SPVs, and cross-border operations
  • Preparing documentation for internal and external audits
  • Partnering with operations, compliance, and legal teams to support end-to-end financial processes
  • Acting as the point of contact for treasury-related questions
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and presentations to senior management
  • Identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements
  • Supporting the implementation of new treasury tools, automation, and best practices
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and development of SOPs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of financial operations experience, ideally in fintech, banking, or payments
  • Strong background in STEM fields (engineering, economics, mathematics, finance)
  • Treasury experience, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and multi-bank environments
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving ability and structured thinking
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-border environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, SPVs, or financial structuring is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders (ops, compliance, legal)
