  • Helping farmers adapt to the effects of climate change on their farms through tailored solutions.
  • Giving produce growers the tools to optimize production, minimize waste, and enhance crop yields.
  • Assisting irrigated farms in managing water more efficiently and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and train growers on field intelligence tools to enhance their agricultural practices.
  • Be the on-the-ground expert for agriculture and irrigation practices in The Delta region.
  • Customize solutions based on each grower's needs and goals to drive business growth.
  • Build long-term relationships with growers and stakeholders in the region to foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Stay current on agtech trends and local practices to provide informed support and guidance.
  • Drive adoption, retention, and satisfaction across the customer base through effective engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure growers' voices shape product development and improvement.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins and performance reviews with growers to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for expanded use of Arable technology to further enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Deep familiarity with agriculture in Mississippi's Delta region, including its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience in irrigation management, crop production, or agtech implementation to inform and improve solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with growers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region to conduct site visits and provide on-the-ground support.
  • A background in agronomy, agricultural engineering, or similar fields to bring technical expertise and knowledge to the role.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline to demonstrate academic rigor and commitment to the field.
  • Problem-solving mindset and passion for helping growers succeed to drive innovation and excellence in agricultural practices.
