About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Partnership Development Manager to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our channel organization, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships with cloud service providers and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Business Plans: Create and execute business plans to drive growth opportunities through partner relationships, aligning partners with customers, developing new customers with partners, and ensuring partners are well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and recommendations.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Manage relationships with large and smaller partner organizations, focusing on developing long-term, outcome-based partnerships that benefit both parties.
  • Value Proposition Development: Design compelling value propositions that inspire partners to promote our solutions and deliver value to their customers.
  • Cloud Security Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies, as well as the competitive position of Palo Alto Networks.
  • Regional Intelligence and Reporting: Contribute to the larger Palo Alto Networks cloud and cloud-native strategy by providing regional-specific intelligence and reporting.
Requirements
  • Extensive Channel/Partner Experience: Proven experience in building ecosystems for SaaS vendors, understanding of channel operating models, and prior sales experience selling SaaS or cloud solutions.
  • Cloud Native Knowledge: Existing relationships within public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) and cloud-native partners, as well as knowledge of DevOps, containers/kubernetes, CI/CD, and the cloud-native technology ecosystem.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal and written skills, and proven presentation skills to articulate complex topics.
  • Autonomy and Problem-Solving: Experience operating autonomously and consistently leading complex sales situations through negotiation and conflict resolution.
