Job Overview

The role of Operational Excellence Manager involves overseeing the optimization of transactional processes in key areas such as accounting, tax calculation, and service contracts. This position requires strategic thinking, process refinement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient operational performance in accounting, tax calculation, accounts payable, and receivable operations by implementing effective strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance SSC efficiency, streamline transactions, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas and business leaders to drive process excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage financial control, including accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee COFCO Freight and Transit operations, from contracting services to accurate entries and payments, to ensure smooth logistics management.
  • Promote continuous process improvement and automation, implementing necessary controls to mitigate risks and losses, and enhancing overall operational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • MBA/Postgraduate degree in Controllership, Financial Management, and People Management is an added advantage.
  • More than 7 years of experience in SSC is required, preferably in a multinational company in a matrix environment and the agribusiness sector.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, financial management, calculations, internal control, reports, and financial processes.
  • Fluency in English; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP system; SLAs and KPIs; strong project and process management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with different hierarchical levels.
