Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Specialist to oversee the execution of complex anticorruption tasks in the commercial sector. This role entails daily activities such as KYC and compliance clause management, along with strategic projects like process automation.
This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy compliance work and want to advance their career in this field.
- Performing counterparty KYC and due diligence procedures (assessing reliability, negative information, sanctions, corruption, and other compliance risks);
- Collaborating on process coordination such as conflict of interest, charity, sponsorship, gifts, and hospitality;
- Data analysis, report preparation, and maintaining statistical tables;
- Contributing to the development of internal compliance rules and procedures;
- Participating in compliance risk assessment and monitoring procedures.
- Evaluating and managing compliance risks;
- Designing and implementing compliance policies and procedures;
- Providing training and guidance to employees on compliance matters;
- Conducting audits and investigations to ensure compliance with regulations;
- Staying up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations affecting compliance.
- Understanding the fundamentals of international anti-corruption legislation (FCPA, UKBA);
- At least three years of experience in anti-corruption compliance;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to listen and persuasively convey opinions;
- Professional compliance certifications are an asset;
- Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
