Human Resources Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee efficient HR processes throughout the employment lifecycle and manage annual HR activities.
  • Implement national HR policies effectively.
  • Provide support and coaching to line managers.
  • Offer insights and guidance on country-specific HR expertise, including payroll, employee relations, and attendance regulations.
  • Conduct local recruitment initiatives, focusing on Employee Value Proposition and Employer Branding, coordinating with local partners, conducting interviews, and facilitating training.
  • Manage local onboarding and exit processes.
  • Support Cargotec's annual HR processes, including performance development, salary reviews, and bonus distributions.
  • Lead local employee relations and well-being initiatives, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive local competence development initiatives.
  • Handle local administrative tasks that fall outside the central team's scope, including document management.
  • Provide support for blue-collar workforce needs.
  • Advance the harmonization agenda.
  • Ensure data accuracy within HR systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for authorities regarding various reporting matters.
  • Facilitate internal communication updates and manage communication flow within the team.
  • Organize and assist with site-level events.

Qualifications for Success

  • Educational background in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resource processes.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental HR processes and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, collective agreements, and local regulations.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in HR tools.
  • Some international experience is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution.
