We are seeking a seasoned employment law expert to join our legal team as a Senior Employment Counsel.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of employment law within Brazil and the LATAM region, with a strong understanding of international labor regulations.
- Provide expert advice on employment law issues, including hiring practices, employment contracts, terminations, employee relations, and compliance with local, regional, and international employment laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.
- Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the company.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
