Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned employment law expert to collaborate with our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of employment law in Brazil and the LATAM region, with a focus on international labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authoritative advice on employment law matters, encompassing hiring practices, employment contracts, terminations, benefits, workplace policies, and employee relations.
  • Ensure adherence to local, regional, and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.
  • Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
  • Offer training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the organization.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of employment law in Brazil and LATAM; experience with international labor regulations.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive advice on a broad range of employment matters and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and related documents.
  • Experience managing employment disputes and coordinating with external counsel.
  • Ability to develop and update internal policies and offer training on employment law and compliance.
  • Experience monitoring changes in employment legislation and assessing impact to the business.
