Employment Lawyer with International Expertise

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team in Brazil and LATAM region. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of employment law, preferably with experience dealing with international labor regulations.
About the Role:
- Provide expert advice on employment law issues, including hiring practices, employment contracts, terminations, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.
- Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the organization.
- Handle cross-border employment matters, including expatriate arrangements and global mobility programs.
- Advise on classification of workers (e.g., employees vs. independent contractors), especially in the gig economy context.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of employment law within Brazil and the LATAM region, preferably with experience dealing with international labor regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with HR, compliance, and operations teams to support business objectives.
