Regional Risk Management Leader

As part of our LATAM Region team, you will lead the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) function, providing independent oversight and challenging first-line risk management activities.

The IRM Manager will maintain a clear and effective risk management framework, enabling forward-looking risk management and proactive monitoring of individual risks and consolidated risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Chief Risk Officer in developing and implementing regional IRM policies and procedures.
  • Drive the development of the Regional IRM organization in LATAM, focusing on implementation, enhancement, and compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a clear and effective risk management framework, enabling forward-looking risk management and proactive monitoring of individual risks and consolidated risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to first-line risk management teams, ensuring effective risk management practices are in place.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial institutions or related fields, with specific expertise in Process, Controls, Finance, and Enterprise/Integrated Risk Management.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent work experience; Master's degree in a financial discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in end-to-end lease processes.
  • Explicit knowledge and experience in DLL's business is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to comprehend and manage complex processes and topics.
  • Able to advise management on developing recommendations for process and control improvements and contribute to local (Risk) strategy.
  • External Audit experience is a plus.
