Job Description

The Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless adherence to applicable laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes globally, encompassing various countries and their respective financial market regulators.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, maintain internal controls, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
Compliance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Prepare comprehensive legal opinions and action plans for risk mitigation.
  • Perform compliance reviews, prepare regulatory reports, and track obligations across all areas.
  • Create and review policies, procedures, and client onboarding checklists aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain suitability rules in accordance with regulatory standards.
Monitoring, Training, and Collaboration:
  • Conduct regular compliance testing to ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
  • Develop and deliver training on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support regarding the interpretation of laws and regulations.
  • Respond to audits and requests from regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Proficiency in regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with risk assessment, internal controls, policies & procedures, Brazilian Central Bank, CVM, NFA/CFTC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Candidates should be familiar with technological innovations and have experience working in compliance departments within the financial services industry.
