Reliable Database Specialist

The role of a Database Administrator is to ensure the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within an organization. This involves both strategic and operational duties, including efficient data storage, access reliability, and protection against data loss or unauthorized access.

This position requires close collaboration with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

• Install and maintain database servers for optimal performance.
• Maintain high-availability scenarios using AON replication.
• Implement database security, backup, and recovery standards.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Manage database access and permissions.
• Perform database performance tuning.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Triage reported issues to identify root causes and escalate urgent matters.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Over three years of experience in database administration, information technology, or a related field.
• MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Adaptable to different cultures.
