Database AdministratorJob Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience in SQL-Server. They will also possess excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain database servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security and maintain database standards.
  • Manage database access and diagnose/troubleshoot database errors.
  • Work with the Global N4 Migration Team on all N4 upgrades.
  • Document implementation & deployment plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • Over three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field.
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments preferred.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will be adaptable to different cultures and willing to travel.
