Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, including experience with SQL-Server, Windows Server environments, and database security. You will work closely with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
  • Install and maintain HA scenarios AON, replication.
  • Manage database access and performance tuning of database systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Identify root causes of outages and issues and prepare plans for permanent changes to eliminate/reduce chronic issues or establish SOPs for resolution by 'shift left' resources

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • Over three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field.
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is valuable.
