Job Overview:

Director of Human Resources

This leadership role is responsible for driving the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.

The Director of Human Resources will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with legal requirements.

  • Talent Development:
    • Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters.
    • Oversee performance management systems to drive high performance.
    • Conduct regular reviews of the organisation and succession plans to ensure a solid pipeline of talent for key roles.
    • Ensure employees have access to professional development opportunities.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Activate the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
    • Manage activities to improve employee engagement.
    • Develop and implement work-life balance initiatives.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Advise and manage employee relations processes.
    • Coach managers to foster positive working relationships and manage conflict.
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Payroll, Compensation and Benefits:
    • Implement Compensation and Benefits programs.
    • Manage the annual bonus and pay review.
    • Advise and guide managers on performance and capability.
  • Talent Planning and Acquisition:
    • Work closely with departmental managers and recruitment teams to understand workforce needs and hiring plans.
    • Lead and coach in sourcing, selecting, and hiring key Management or Director level positions.
  • Financial:
    • Prepare and manage the HR and Payroll budget.
  • People Management:
    • Manage, coach, motivate, and develop direct reports to achieve their potential.
