Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to serve as a Coordinator for our Department of Biological Sciences.

You will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating essential processes, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards that make our biological sciences program nationally recognized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with preparation and production of complex documentation, such as course line schedules, graduate/undergraduate student forms, grant proposals, and partnership agreements.
  • Prepares and controls records, statistics, and reports regarding department operations; generates reports as specified, including tracking faculty actions, undergrad/grad student progress and majors/minors, catalog updates, Course Inventory Management (CIM), etc.
  • Responds to varied and often complex inquiries from students, faculty, and staff requiring a basic understanding of University programs, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Schedules and coordinates appointments, visits, and/or meetings.
  • Works with financial systems and tools to compute, classify, record, and verify data for departmental accounting records; identifies discrepancies for supervisor.
