We are embracing a virtual approach to enhance patient care. This role involves providing fully remote clinical services, offering acute Mental Health and Substance Use care across our region in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier care to adult patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Consult at our Virtual Unit and conduct outreach visits to patients' residences.
- Perform assessments, outpatient treatment, and consultation; conduct family meetings and organize case conferences.
- Educate psychiatry residents and medical students.
- Foster continuity of care by building strong relationships with the care team and advocating for patients' needs.
Qualifications
- A qualified or eligible Psychiatrist.
