This role requires a highly skilled professional to shape our global mobility strategy and oversee visa, work permit, and immigration processes in Brazil. The successful candidate will manage cases directly while partnering with global teams to define policies and SOPs for immigration and relocation.
About the Role:- The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in immigration or global mobility, preferably in both corporate and vendor/consulting environments.
- They will have strong expertise in Brazilian immigration processes (visas, residence permits, work authorizations).
- A bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Administration, or related fields is essential.
- Manage visa, work permit, and immigration processes in Brazil, ensuring timely execution and compliance with local laws.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors (immigration firms, relocation providers, tax & payroll advisors).
- Define and implement policies and SOPs for immigration and relocation, supporting a scalable and compliant mobility framework.
- Partner with global teams on expatriate allowances, compensation and benefits policies, and relocation packages.
- Provide hands-on case support for employees and managers, especially during the first months of assignments.
- Monitor changes in Brazilian immigration legislation, proactively updating stakeholders and policies.
- Collaborate closely with Payroll, Legal, HR Business Partners, and Global Mobility to ensure seamless operations.
- Experience working in Chinese companies or other multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with expatriate assignment lifecycle (immigration, tax, relocation, payroll).
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks related to mobility (expat allowances, housing, benefits).
