Cloud Solutions Consultant Job Summary

The Cloud Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in helping customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products. This position involves leading the successful adoption of Google Cloud at organizations, guiding them through the strategic and technical facets of their Google Cloud transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve customer success by accelerating adoption of Google Cloud services.
  • Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals, and business transformation strategies to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate adoption of new features and products.
  • Partner with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure customer success and optimize customer's Google Cloud Journey.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (e.g., launch or capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience in application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills.
