Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role involves designing, implementing and managing scalable infrastructure using Terraform across AWS and Azure cloud environments. This position is responsible for ensuring that the company's cloud infrastructure is secure, efficient and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing, particularly in AWS and Azure. They should be familiar with cloud-based tools and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Bamboo, and Kubernetes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bamboo and Ansible to ensure smooth delivery of software applications.
  • Maintain and Deploy Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to manage and deploy infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and efficiency in cloud resource provisioning.
  • Manage and Support Kubernetes Clusters: Oversee and support Kubernetes clusters across various environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Create Automation and Tooling: Develop automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Python, PowerShell, YAML and JavaScript to streamline cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams using Azure DevOps and Bitbucket to ensure seamless delivery and deployment of software applications.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Production Systems: Proactively monitor and troubleshoot production systems and deployments to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing, particularly in AWS and Azure.
  • Expertise in cloud-based tools and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Bamboo and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, YAML and JavaScript.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
