Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime
  • Identify and recommend replacement of equipment and tools as needed
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters to ensure accuracy
  • Locate and operate shut-off valves to prevent equipment damage
  • Order and stock parts and supplies as needed
  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log to ensure accurate tracking
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers
  • Operate power lift to move equipment and supplies
  • Complete life safety checklist, including fire-pump run test and generator run test
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Assist in development of disaster response protocols
  • Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps

Preferred Qualifications

  • License or certification in a relevant field
