About the Role

This position is a key part of our revenue management team. The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for recognizing revenue from contract inception to general ledger reconciliation for assigned client portfolios.

The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Performing activities to meet business and financial close requirements
  • Understanding, improving, and managing the contract approval process from proposal through signature
  • Completing month-end closing tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations for assigned clients
  • Assisting in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including variance analysis
  • Supporting the external and internal audit process
  • Preparing and maintaining deferred cost analysis
  • Client margin analysis

We are looking for an experienced accountant with a strong understanding of revenue recognition rules and regulations. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will work closely with our sales finance and operational teams to forecast financial results and revenue recognition treatment.

Requirements for Success

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Public accounting combined with industry experience is preferred
  • Experience working with US GAAP (ASC 606) and IFRS (IFRS 15) revenue recognition rules
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid mode
