Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Payment Risk Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies to mitigate payment risks.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, risk management, and strategy formulation.
  • They should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities

The Payment Risk Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing security strategies targeting card theft and account theft based on historical data and expert experience
  • Optimizing these strategies through data analysis and mining
  • Balancing the convenience of the payment experience with the risk of financial losses
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring security strategies that maximize risk-reward ratios
  • Establishing a strategy monitoring indicator system and a data reporting system
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Science, or related fields
  • Proven experience in data analysis and strategy formulation
  • Prior experience in risk strategy, data mining, or machine learning is preferred
  • Proficiency in at least one analytical tool, such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
  • Knowledge of common machine learning algorithms and practical experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, with excellent learning ability, innovative application skills, and communication and coordination abilities
  • Fluency in English as working language
