Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Product Specialist. As a key member of the Power Transformers team, you will play a vital role in capturing and translating customer requirements into improvements of existing solutions and driving new product developments.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be fluent in English and have experience with writing technical papers and/or reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitor analyses and identify technical product gaps and opportunities for competitiveness.
  • Manage the technical specifications of Industrial and Specialty Power Transformers and support the development of business cases for product development, transfer of technology, maintenance, and competitiveness.
  • Collect and share market technical data to validate performance of products and drive new product development.
  • Prepare and present technical communication materials to support product launches and enhance market positioning.
  • Provide support to data quality improvement, sales, and participate in customer meetings and trade shows on request.
  • Ensure appropriate training material is available for use both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc Engineering degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer engineering and/or research & development, including electrical design experience from working in a factory with production process and cost structure understanding.
  • Technical knowledge of transformer portfolio and experience with offshore wind or O&G substation transformers or subsea transformers is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent English, experience with writing technical papers and/or reports.
