Transformer Engineer Specialist

The position of Global Product Specialist – Offshore Substation and Subsea Transformers involves collaborating with the Global Product Manager to capture customer needs and develop innovative solutions for transformer engineering.
This role requires technical expertise, international standards development, and contributing to industry knowledge on power transformer technology. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and deliver exceptional results.
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements to enhance existing solutions and create new products.
- Manage technical specifications of Industrial and Specialty Power Transformers and support product development initiatives.
- Collect and share market data to validate product performance and inform new product development strategies.
- Prepare and present technical communication materials for product launches, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide critical support for data quality improvement and sales efforts, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering (MSc or BSc). A minimum of 5 years of experience in transformer engineering and/or research & development is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of transformer portfolios, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively across teams, and drive business growth through strategic partnerships.
