Operational Excellence Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and leading cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

The Operational Excellence Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing practical improvement initiatives to meet or exceed key performance indicators for the site. This includes identifying high-value opportunities, streamlining processes, and improving customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to address strategic priorities of the site and monitor progress of improvement efforts
  • Responsible for the implementation of our continuous Improvement Business System (PPI) and collaborating with the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and steering committees to mature the Lean Management System
  • Lead functional teams to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators (leading and lagging) at site level and develop corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with Finance to update monthly financial statements and deploy resources to conduct diagnostics and support implementation activities
  • Deploy system to standardize practical process improvement best practices within the site as defined

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in Science, Life Science or Engineering Field
  • 10+ years of operational excellence experience in a highly-regulated industry
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt)
  • Strong leadership capabilities, charismatic personality, and strong communication and presentation skills
