The primary function of a Service Technician II is to provide support with day-to-day maintenance needs across multiple communities. This role involves collaborating closely with on-site service technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain units in accordance with established company standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance work orders efficiently and document progress effectively
- Support on-site technicians in diagnosing and repairing vacant units, including tasks such as fixture replacement, electrical inspections, and other required services
- Monitor and communicate the status of service work orders
- Develop effective communication skills for interacting with residents, staff, supervisors, and vendors
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in an organized and functional condition
- High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance or handyman role
- Possession of CAMT Certification and/or other maintenance-related credentials is desirable
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a challenging environment
