This role involves supporting the sales team in developing winning commercial proposals that will be converted into sales. You will also work closely with local and global teams as part of your daily activities, getting all the information you need and seeking approval for process requirements.
Daily Tasks:- Delivering high-quality commercial proposals and supporting sales managers during contract negotiations.
- Interacting with various commercial and technical teams, including sales, finance, engineering, supply chain, program management, and senior executives like the P&L leader, CEO, and CFO.
- Understanding customer needs, translating them into suitable products or services within our portfolio, developing winning proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Supporting the sales team in developing winning commercial proposals that will be converted into sales.
- Working closely with local and global teams as part of your daily activities, obtaining necessary information and seeking approvals.
- Delivering high-quality commercial proposals and supporting sales managers during contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or International Relations.
- Desired experience within the transportation industry.
- Extensive experience with locomotive maintenance service agreements.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Executive-level presentation skills.
- Experience managing large, complex deals with multi-functional interactions.
- Providing competitive commercial proposals and taking the lead on negotiating terms and conditions, margins, pricing, and other aspects required to close contracts for complex deals.
- Collaborating closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and define deal strategies to develop outcome-based commercial solutions meeting or exceeding customer goals and objectives.
- Analyzing complex data sets to evaluate project viability and ensure business-informed decisions.
