The role of a Supply Chain Inventory Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data center resources to client sites globally. This position plays a crucial part in guaranteeing that our services continue to operate efficiently, aligning with customer needs.
">This individual will be responsible for coordinating inventory management activities, including deployment plan analysis and execution of established workflows. The Specialist will also participate in process sustainability and improvement initiatives, thus contributing significantly to Fulfillment Optimizations evolution.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in machine rack and slot inventory management">
- Engage in deployment plan analysis and execution of established workflows">
- Involved in project tracking">
- Handle machine inventory management">
- Responsible for auditing per location inventory and identifying excess inventory">
- Determine inventory repurposing and removal path & schedule decommissioning">
- Manage machine reassignments">
- Manage reduction and cancellation of supply orders in response to changes in demand">
- Coordinate with internal teams to schedule removal of TCO negative inventory and delivery of replacement capacity">
- Route and respond to tickets">
- Manage machine drains in advance of decommissioning">
- Monitor transient supply deficits">
- Create and assist in managing deployment plans">
- Perform 'cluster health' audits and remediations">
- Monitor customer order delivery performance">
- Mitigate fulfillment interrupts / failures">
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience">
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships">
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action">
- Basic knowledge of materials and components of machine racks or in-flight racks">
- Knowledge of inventory and order management">
- Ability to assess current inventory and reassign as needed for infeasible orders">
- Strong organization skills and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment">
- Excellent documentation, writing, organization and verbal communication skills">
- Familiarity with project management">
