This role is responsible for connecting market intelligence with product development, ensuring that product offerings are aligned with market needs and technically feasible.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesize market data and customer insights to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product plans are operationally efficient and meet business objectives.
- Analyze field data and product performance to support the identification of improvement opportunities.
- Develop clear and concise management reports by consolidating market, field, and product performance data.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to support innovation and differentiation strategies.
- Act as a liaison between commercial and technical teams, ensuring that market requirements are reflected in product specifications and development priorities.
- Support the feasibility assessment and concept validation of new products or enhancements.
- Maintain awareness of existing product lines and assist in lifecycle management decisions such as upgrades, repositioning, or phase-outs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Product Design, or a related field.
- Experience in product planning, product development, or R&D interface roles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration involving Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and After-Sales.
- Familiarity with product development processes (e.g., stage-gate, PLM systems).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
