Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Foster Productive Working Relationships
Build and sustain productive working relationships with team members and external stakeholders
Ensure effective communication with colleagues, visitors, and supervisors
Conduct thorough and precise work handovers.

2) Conduct Inspections
Perform both internal and external equipment evaluations as well as hydrostatic testing in accordance with regulations
Guarantee adherence to company standards
Maintain comprehensive records of inspections and equipment data
Generate detailed reports on equipment evaluations and associated records
Report on external audits to the Maintenance Superintendent and Equipment Inspector Coordinator regarding audit findings
Oversee subcontractor activities related to equipment compliance.

3) Promote Workplace Health and Safety
Ensure that the work area is organized and free from hazards
Take proactive measures to address hazards and unsafe practices
Alert relevant parties as necessary and take action according to established policies and procedures
Report all potential and actual incidents to the appropriate supervisor.

4) Ensure Pollution Control Compliance
Identify and mitigate unplanned discharges and report them following management guidelines
Properly segregate and manage equipment, waste, or materials designated for disposal according to established procedures.

5) Engage in Emergency Response Activities
Fulfill Emergency Response responsibilities
Exhibit proficiency during emergency drills and training exercises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:


• Extensive experience as an Equipment Inspector;

• Knowledge and experience in offshore operations;


• Certification in Equipment Inspection;


• Qualifications in Thickness Measurement and Liquid Penetrant;


• Intermediate proficiency in English (to be assessed);


• Valid Passport and willingness to work on a rotational schedule for an extended period;

Preferred:

• Qualifications in Magnetic Particle and/or Welding Inspection N1 or N2;

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate safe work transitions and emergency response.
