Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Foster Productive Relationships
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with team members and external stakeholders
Ensure clear and consistent communication with colleagues, visitors, and supervisors
Conduct thorough and precise work transitions.

2) Equipment Oversight
Perform both internal and external inspections of equipment and execute hydrostatic testing as mandated by regulations
Guarantee adherence to company standards
Maintain up-to-date records in inspection and equipment logs
Generate comprehensive reports detailing inspection findings and data
Report on external audits to the Maintenance Superintendent and Equipment Inspector Coordinator regarding audit outcomes
Oversee subcontractor activities related to equipment compliance.

3) Promote Workplace Health and Safety
Ensure that the work area is organized and devoid of hazards
Take proactive measures to address hazards and unsafe practices
Respond to alarms appropriately and in accordance with established policies and procedures
Report all potential and actual incidents to the appropriate supervisor.

4) Manage Environmental Protection Protocols
Identify and mitigate unplanned discharges promptly, reporting them in line with management guidelines
Ensure proper segregation and disposal of equipment, waste, or materials.

5) Execute Emergency Response Duties
Fulfill Emergency Response responsibilities
Exhibit proficiency during emergency drills and training exercises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:


• Extensive experience as an Equipment Inspector;

• Proficient knowledge of offshore operations;


• Certification in Equipment Inspection;


• Qualifications in Thickness Measurement and Liquid Penetrant testing;


• Intermediate proficiency in English (to be assessed);


• Valid Passport and willingness to work in a rotational shift pattern for an extended period;

Preferred:

• Certifications in Magnetic Particle Testing and/or Welding Inspection N1 or N2;

Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English to facilitate safe work transitions and emergency responses.
