We are seeking a skilled and compassionate T herapist to join our Mental Health Treatment Center team. As a T herapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families.
Responsibilities:- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote effective coping skills and support clients in navigating their mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, conduct client psychosocial assessments, and provide crisis management support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, charting and documenting any notable developments or concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client engagement and retention, ensuring seamless transitions between phases of treatment.
- Engage in regular supervision and mentorship to foster professional growth and ensure delivery of exceptional care to our clients.
- Master's degree from an accredited social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology program.
- Registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Health as an associate or licensed therapist.
- Previous experience working within mental health settings, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and relationships.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with precision and attention to detail.
