Job Description

• Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a critical role in determining the logical design and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data in a new target state or an alternative version of an existing state.

• Design conceptual structures and plans to meet current and long-term data requirements.
• Determine overall modeling standards, guidelines, best practices, and approved modeling techniques.
• Supervise the creation of all conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Evaluate data modeling practices and guidelines to ensure they are followed.
• Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI), and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse.
• Collaborate with business and provide technical expertise to explore new technologies and drive speed to market on new ideas.
• Work with data services administrators to develop data objects and data models to support data services in service-oriented architecture.
• Collect and identify various metadata assets.
• Model the future state of the data architecture and provide data architecture best practices and guidelines.
• Establish metrics for tracking and measuring the value of data architecture initiatives.
• Ensure critical information assets modeled as part of any project are represented in the enterprise information architecture (EIA) and follow design guidelines and requirements of EIA.
• Collaborate with other Data and Analytics Architects to ensure consistent translation of enterprise architecture to solution architects, conduct solution design reviews, and resolve solution design conflicts across business units.
• Assess technology trends and direction providing guidance on how those trends will impact organization opportunities as well as mitigate risks.

• Five years of experience in data integration or architecture.
• BS degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Ability to define the value of the data asset to the enterprise.
• Conceptual, logical, and physical modeling, especially for rationalizing data objects.
• Ability to collaborate with information architects, content architects, and other data architects to support common goals and approaches.
• Ability to collaborate with business analysts and data stewards to assess if the model is fit for use.
• Experience in transactional and operational, analytical, and MDM modeling techniques.
• Understanding of the relationship between architecture and use cases.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data integration tools.
• Experience with Oracle databases, data integration tools, data lakes, and Azure cloud computing a plus.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or direction.
• Highly skilled in communications, verbal and written.
• High fluency in English required. Portuguese, French, and Russian a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Must have demonstrated past experience in the following competencies: dealing with ambiguity, learning on the fly, problem solving, action oriented, informing others, organizing, and priority-setting, listening, and collaboration skills.
