Lead Environment Artist

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Lead Environment Artist to spearhead our team's artistic endeavors. This role offers a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of environment art on a variety of exciting projects.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of environment art processes for games, encompassing architecture, natural environments, and man-made structures.
  • You will be responsible for leading a team of environment artists, guiding them in developing innovative ideas and navigating the production pipeline.
  • A strong proficiency in Unreal Engine and various digital content creation tools is essential, as well as experience collaborating with internal concept and development teams.
  • You should have a profound understanding of what drives an engaging player experience and be able to implement efficient strategies for maximizing asset reuse.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a Lead overseeing a large art development team, including mentoring and promoting growth opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with expertise in working with Production to scope tasks and manage resources effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of game art creation, including art fundamentals, lighting, composition, art styles, and color theory.
