As an Account Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth in your assigned territory or account. Your primary goal is to manage customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and close deals that contribute significantly to the company's revenue.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers and territories, utilizing your knowledge of medical products and industry trends to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Develop and execute a regional plan to achieve sales targets, focusing on existing customers and exploring new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor products, and customer needs to provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Better still, develop a deep understanding of your assigned accounts and their specific challenges to tailor your approach and meet their unique needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in a related field, preferably in a healthcare or medical-related discipline.
- Progressive sales experience in the medical devices or hospital equipment industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales environments and find creative solutions.
- A collaborative mindset, with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving mutual success.
