Job Responsibilities- To lead a team of operatives and ensure productivity, quality, and financial service levels are met.
- To provide input into daily operations as required, support operators, and carry out continuous improvement activities.
- To be responsible for all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and expedition.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing/production operations, including an understanding of manufacturing IT systems and warehousing/logistics.
- Experience in preparing and controlling preventive maintenance plans for machines and hand tools.
- Good interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and numeracy.
- Motivate and develop employees by setting an example and coaching team members.
- Supervise others by setting targets and providing regular feedback.
- Understand operational issues and integrate with line managers and other departments.
- Using PDCA tools daily to deliver continuous improvements.
- Maintaining and improving quality standards so that all products are delivered defect-free.
- Supporting the department Manager in implementing strategic plans and objectives.
Competence is measured as the ability to do tasks safely, to the highest quality, at the standard level of output.
