Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Center Operations Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:

  • This role will involve working with activities related to data center management and operation of large-scale and critical missions, including installation or maintenance of equipment, fiber optic and metallic cabling for IT equipment, installation, maintenance, and documentation of both cabling materials and structured cabling infrastructure, operation and control of IT assets, supplies, and components stock, control of logistics activities performed by suppliers delivering goods in data centers and other IT environments, and production of procedures, work instructions, checklists, and indicators.
  • The position will be based at our client's data center in Mooca/SP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with activities related to data center management and operation of large-scale and critical missions;
  • Installation or maintenance of equipment;
  • Fiber optic and metallic cabling for IT equipment;
  • Installation, maintenance, and documentation of both cabling materials and structured cabling infrastructure (racks, trays, panels, DIOs, etc);
  • Operation and control of IT assets, supplies, and components stock;
  • Control of logistics activities performed by suppliers delivering goods in data centers and other IT environments;
  • Production of procedures, work instructions, checklists, and indicators;
  • Working with shifts and turns;
  • Participating in data center maintenance or similar situations;

Requirements:

  • Desirable technical course complete or superior in the area;
  • Basic technical knowledge in IT;
  • Basics technical knowledge in microinformatics;
  • Written communication skills;
  • Basic reading skills in English;
  • We seek someone who:

  • - Follows operational procedures to the letter;
  • - Works with shifts and turns;
  • - Participates in data center maintenance or similar situations;
  • Possessing certifications related to the area of IT infrastructure will be a differential.
