The Data Center Infrastructure Specialist plays a pivotal role in the Hardware Operations team, responsible for deploying and maintaining cutting-edge data center server and network infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to the delivery of critical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy new data center infrastructure across various projects and functions.
- Maintain the security and integrity of data by identifying potential security issues and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with teams to disassemble equipment at end-of-life, performing part replacement or maintenance as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong understanding of data center operations and relevant technologies. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred, along with excellent communication skills to support client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications- Certification in Google IT Support Professional Certificate program.
- At least 2 years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer/server hardware, or networking protocols.
- Familiarity with data center or network operation center environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing circumstances.
