Data Center Operations Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality technical support and maintenance services for our data center infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing on-site technical assistance for reactive and proactive tasks.
- Performing installation services for new equipment.
- Carrying out diagnostics and resolving data center hardware and network infrastructure issues using specialized tools.
- Recording work performed in task management systems.
- Installing or dismantling racks, including data center equipment stacks.
- Maintaining data center environments using monitoring tools or walk-through routines.
- Dismantling data center hardware.
- Collaborating with a team to ensure seamless 24x7 operations.
This role executes tasks within established policies and procedures, utilizing independent judgment for complex situations. Team members may take a leading role in projects and provide direction and guidance to others.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Linux, Networks, Datacenter and IT hardware concepts, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience handling reactive or mission-critical cases in post-sale support and production environments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
