Climat Policy Initiative is an analysis and advisory organization with expertise in finance and policy. Our office works to reconcile economic development with environmental conservation through rigorous analysis and evidence-based research.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to climate finance work streams, analyzing financial ecosystems and sectoral policies.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative evaluations of national and international finance for Brazil, analyzing existing climate finance mechanisms and sectoral policies.
- Develop complex research assignments, translating climate finance concepts to impacts on different sectors and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or policy, with a master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience analyzing climate finance, public expenditure, and climate markets, with private sector and/or government experience preferred.
- Data management and analytics skills, with knowledge of R or Stata.
- Financial instruments and Securities Law knowledge, with experience in financial modeling and macroeconomic modeling a plus.
This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and prioritization skills, as well as flexibility and adaptability under pressure.
