About the Role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, negotiate and assess potential risks in contractual documents with clients and suppliers.
  • Draft and review legal documents and a wide variety of contracts, focusing on engineering services and EPCM.
  • Prepare detailed recommendations for the approval of contractual and commercial documentation and coordinate internal approval.
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing legal guidance and administrative support in company processes and negotiations.
  • Presentation of the legal and commercial requirements of executed contracts and participation in contract handover meetings with the project team.
  • Support senior management by developing innovative, high-quality commercial proposals and pricing strategies.
  • Advice on corporate, commercial, environmental and labor law matters.
  • Research and response to the company's legal inquiries related to disputes, regulatory issues, intellectual property, privacy, fraud and claims.
  • Development and delivery of training sessions on legal topics such as anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, competition law, negotiation and contract management.
