About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Belo Horizonte. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate and contract law, with a strong understanding of legal concepts applicable to engineering and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contractual documents with clients and suppliers
  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts for engineering services and EPCM projects
  • Prepare recommendations for contractual and commercial documentation and coordinate internal approval
  • Provide strategic guidance on legal matters and administrative support in company processes and negotiations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Postgraduate degree in Business or Contract Law (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate/contract law, preferably in-house counsel in mining, energy, or construction sectors, or in law firms serving clients in these areas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
