Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal concepts applicable to engineering and consulting services, including EPCM and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and assess potential risks in contractual documents with clients and suppliers.
  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts, focusing on engineering services and EPCM.
  • Prepare detailed recommendations for the approval of contractual and commercial documentation and coordinate internal approval.
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing legal guidance and administrative support in business processes and negotiations.
  • Present a summary of the legal and commercial requirements of executed contracts and participate in contract handover meetings with the project team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Postgraduate degree in Business or Contract Law (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate/contract law, preferably as in-house counsel in mining, energy, or construction sectors, or in law firms serving clients in these areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
