We seek a driven Development Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of higher education. This dynamic opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact on our university's mission by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects to secure financial support for our priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of assigned prospects to solicit and close major gifts for college objectives.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of assigned prospects to secure funding for college and university objectives.
- Work with the Director of Development to develop annual fundraising plans, including opportunities to qualify and solicit new prospects and donors.
- Take a leadership role in recruitment, engagement, solicitation, and management of specific projects, programs, and volunteer leadership groups.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years of related work experience.
- Proven track record of success in fundraising or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for higher education and our mission.
