Join Automatic Data Processing, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer.

In this position, you will collaborate within an agile team to transform concepts and designs into functional web applications. Your contributions will cater to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You will engage with clients, product leaders, system architects, and fellow developers to strategize, design, create, test, and deploy significant solutions that assist organizations of varying sizes.

Your day will commence with a daily stand-up meeting to prioritize tasks and monitor progress. Within your team, you will select user stories to address during each sprint cycle. The majority of your time will be spent in discussions, coding, and testing your work. Every few weeks, you will participate in deployment activities.

Availability for a hybrid work model is essential, with a requirement to be present in the office multiple times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Stand-ups: Begin each day with a scrum meeting to clarify responsibilities, identify challenges, and establish coding priorities.
  • Development: Work in bi-weekly sprints, adhering to timelines and maintaining high coding standards. Your main objective is to deliver features punctually.
  • Collaboration: Engage with various team members, from project managers to quality assurance, to comprehend requirements and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new technologies and explore open-source communities. The ability to ask insightful questions is more valuable than simply having the right answers.

  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
    • Java
    • Spring Boot
    • Apache Kafka
    • MongoDB
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
