This is a leadership role that oversees the day-to-day operations of an assigned shift within a single facility. The Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of sortation activities, workforce management, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee sortation activities during the assigned shift, including inbound receiving, sorting, and outbound loading.
- Manage the shift's workforce, ensuring proper staffing, task assignments, and performance tracking.
- Enforce safety protocols and monitor key performance indicators such as sortation throughput, quality metrics, and safety incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and resource constraints.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to shift personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of shift performance.
- Bachelor's degree
- Employee and performance management experience
- Flexible schedule/shift/work area experience, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Basic English and Fluent Portuguese
This role requires a deep understanding of sortation processes, safety protocols, and workforce management.
