Job Title: Area Logistics Coordinator

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with extensive experience in logistics and operations management.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and delivery personnel to achieve exceptional performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other logistics leaders to ensure efficient labor distribution and effective operational management.
  • Oversee the outbound process from order fulfillment to last-mile delivery preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Dispatch and First Day Delivery Success.
  • Implement and support all safety programs, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Develop and execute process improvement initiatives using Lean tools, analyzing metrics to identify root causes and drive operational enhancements.
  • Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to relevant departments, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and operations management.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
